Earthquake is like prospecting for your MLM opportunity

How MLM opportunities and prospecting for them being like an earthquake will only make sense to you if you live in earthquake country. But if you relate it to natural disasters in your area, you can imagine.

If you live in California you’ve probably experienced an earthquake. I heard someone say that in many areas of the world (where they don’t have earthquakes) there is a certain amount of fear about earthquakes. In California (in the Bay Area) where they just had a quake, many people are so used to it, they just say “Wheeeeee-eee”

And that’s a lot like prospecting for your MLM opportunity.

When you haven’t experienced it much, it’s scary to go out and talk to people. When you’re new, when you have little support, when you really don’t know all that much. But if you just do it. If you commit to a 30-60-90 day campaign and just follow through no matter what. At first it’s really hard. Talking to people. Feeling out of your comfort zone. Talking about a MLM opportunity you just started (or haven’t had success at yet).

And eventually, slowly, it becomes easier, much easier, and you will be saying “Wheeee-eee!” like those folks in California during their 4.2 earthquake.

Can an earthquake be dangerous? Can it cause damage? Obviously yes it can. But as you live through them you realize that if you take the right precautions, are prepared, are safe, you can become stronger, better.

So in your MLM opportunities, spend less time worrying about your prospecting and more time doing. Spend less time thinking about stuff and more time refining your skills.

Shake it up a bit in your downline by committing to having fun. Putting a bit of “Wheee-ee” into your business.
